[Jodie, I know and you know that our belief are quite in sync with each other and I join these conversations not so much to talk to you but to supplement your messages]

Re the lines I highlighted here: or lose their belief in God, which makes sense because their belief is often constructed by many of the religions that humans, not God, have created.

"Religions have been designed to be believed and thus construct God as a deliverer of human wants if we do as we are told, which God is not. So people either blindly believe in God because the lie of what God is is believable, or reject God because the God defined by religions cannot co-exist with the reality that most people do not get what they want, or are not actually happy, and a world full of seemingly senseless tragedy and really bad things happening to good people." https://medium.com/illumination/why-is-it-so-easy-for-people-to-believe-the-most-obvious-lies-yet-require-proof-of-god-339a2a07cc4f

There is no religion in heaven. That's the title of an essay by Laxaa, https://medium.com/illuminations-mirror/there-is-no-religion-in-heaven-d08a33511ee8 in which she wrote, "Spirituality is not religion. And religion is not spirituality. Spirituality can know Heaven because Heaven is Spiritual. Religion can only know earth because it is an invention of earth....

I am not saying that all “religions” are valid. I am saying no “religion” is valid. Many “religions” contain kernels of truth; aspects of God. Many “religions” lay claim to certain mystics who were undoubtedly Divinely inspired and knew God. But no “religion” has a monopoly on God precisely because once something becomes “religion” man has added earthly things to it. Earth is not Heaven. As we said when we started this chat, there is no religion in Heaven."
