Just read it. A good short read. Last week I posted a sonnet in Write Under the Moon, https://medium.com/write-under-the-moon/if-william-shakespeare-were-alive-today-872174b34521, subtitled "He would have written with me and for you, this sonnet of hope springs perennially." Here's the first stanza to give you flavor:

What brings tears to eyes of both young and old

What fills the hearts of both men and women

When tales of triumph and defeat oft told

What always bakes hope in our hearts' ovens

For future reference, I'm wondering if it would have fit your pub?
