Labeled absurd because the meaning/purpose of it all is beyond human ability to comprehend, especially the tragic parts.

Whenever I read discussions of Camus and his brand of existentialism (as opposed to Kierkegaard's spiritual existentialism), I conclude Camus was deeply clinically depressed and wish he/his outlook weren't revered by so many, but get why many identify with it on the surface
