Like you, I think. If I'm not feeling it, I accept it and know the ideas and words will flow when they are ready. Sometimes if I have a notion of what I want to write for a poem, and it feels stuck behind a dam, a bottle of wine often allows what's been percoltaing and brewing to pour out of the kettle of my mind. Often a walk works too, but that's more for essays. If I ever truly have writers block, which I really havent had for enough time to call it block, I'll take it as a sign from my guides that I need to deal with some other aspect of my life and once I have, I know they'll open up the channels again.
