Making peace with our own mortality is not that hard, at least for me and others who think like me, but making peace with death or fearing death of our loved ones, that's very difficult. That's what much of my piece https://medium.com/@marcus17043/keep-faith-and-hope-of-love-and-light-when-tragedy-strikes-ccc3abe2b307 was about which you read and the poem therein ended with this stanza:

"Relieve our fears and pains we so yearn

Death’s the illusion that feels lifelike

Searing pain we loved ones feel the burn

Souls escape this mortal coil we might delight

— When tragedy strikes our human hearts"
