Maybe it's because I'm a semi-stubborn Gen X (1967--I have enjoyed your essays on the mislabeled and/or manufactured generations), but the only thing I go to YouTube for is when I want to embed a song in my Medium stories or occasionally for one tarot reader who doesn't pull the fake look up to the right and who is quite insightful. Ari's Tarot if you're interested in seeing why I find her worth watching. I've never watched nor listened to a Podcast and never will. Not that there's anything wrong with them. I'm sure many are great. It annoys the fuck out of me when I see a notification in my NYT app that seems interesting and then I see it's a podcast. Give me a transcript. I don't want to listen/watch. I've enjoyed a few of your transcripts that you have posted to Medium.
