My friend, that's not the issue. Lots of us medium members are also on twitter. If I'm logged into medium and read a story, the writer gets paid. If I see a tweet of the story and click thru to it from Twitter, and read it, the writer does not get paid. That's not ok. Medium keeps money the writer earned. I don't care if it's pennies. It's wrong and the coding could be easily changed so that a read by a paying member counts as an internal read regardless of where the click initiated.
