No, this is not an argument that we all need to stop eating meat and take our vows of veganism. Animal products can play a role in our future, just as they played an essential role in our past. Yet an organization that believes in eating sustainably and ethically needs to take a hard look at whether heavily endorsing the consumption of animals is the best thing for our planet, our society, and our health.
