My take on the quote and it's application was a bit different. My take was Kaling enjoys sleep so much and there will be plenty of beautiful sunrises don't you dare wake me from my golden slumber. Of course, without reading the book in which Kaling wrote it and what she said elsewhere in the book, one can assign any meaning one wants to a soundbite, like those movie adverts that take a few words from a review that sound like the reviewer found a movie hilarious but the reviewer right after the selected words said "too bad it was the only funny moment in the movie."
