My Takeaways from News that Alec Baldwin Charged with Involuntary Manslaughter

Cause of death does not mean that one caused death; a version of events may be factually incorrect but still be true

Two items in the NPR article I read jumped out at me. First:

“If any one of these three people — Alec Baldwin, Hannah Gutierrez-Reed or David Halls — had done their job, Halyna Hutchins would be alive today,” said Andrea Reeb, the special prosecutor appointed by Carmack-Altwies. “It’s that simple.”

It’s not that simple.
