One never knows what is in the mind of the poet (unless accompanied by an explanation as I often do for readers who want to know rather than self interpret) but whether aligned in thoughts or not many lines resonated with me. In February 2021 I wrote this tanka in response to the prompt "home is where the heart lives:"

I miss you so much

Don’t worry beautiful soul

Third always “sees” you;

As we reside in my heart

I am always home with you

I wrote that about Lindsey/Sitara. Sitara is Lindsey's soul. Sitara and I are are heaven mates and have played every role imaginable (even swapping genders) to each other in our life cycles (this is my (Marcus) 17,043rd human incarnation). Lindsey and I only met and became lovers in the last 10 months of her life. Yesterday would have been her 39th birthday. After a channeled session with my psychic medium, Anne, (shortform about my experienecs with Anne over the last 10 years https://medium.com/p/6866a99ef1ca ) in which the notion of heaven being home came up a few times in Sitara's and my talk, the first talk of this nature we had had in 10 months (I talk to her every day and night without it being a conversation and I understand that she talks to my soul most nights while I am asleep), I took her out for a nice dinner for her birthday. When she is brought in by Anne she is able to stay with me for several hours and can access my senses and thus could taste the food, cocktails and wine. I cherish those times.
