Original sin is a terribly misguided doctrine.
It is a rationalization for how a loving God can permit "bad" things to happen to "good" people. There is no such binary. What we perceive as "bad" are simply challenges designed for us to grow spiritually. Challenges that our souls agreed to face as a condition for our incarnation. Challenges we ourselves designed in synchronous coordination with a 100 or so or more other souls with whom we eternally reincarnate into the master class for learning that we call life on earth.
