Past me. As I understand it from good authority, our past incarnations are not really past us's. This life as Greg is Marcus's (my soul--that is its name--not invented by me) 17,063rd human incarnation. The previous ones of which I've been informed are nothing like this one. Black male slave. Black female slave. White slave trader. Middle eastern woman gang raped. White male airline pilot in the early hey day of airlines. (The three not human were dog, lamb, and horse). So there isn't a past me (Greg) to opine on how Greg is doing. It's not even about that. It's just about the soul experiencing what it's like to exist in physicality and with all that comes with being human.

Do you ever read Jes Kerzen. She writes about the nonverbal autistic former student of hers who is now her guide, who communicates with her telepathically. He seems to have access to knowledge from the non-physical dimensions/realms. She wrote recently of his metaphoric description of reincarnation as a carnation. Each petal of the flower represents a past life now part of the whole of the flower, the soul. And a field of carnations as a metaphor for our "soul families," the approx 80-120 souls we tend to plan our itineraries with and with whom we travel. Here's Jes's piece. It's short. https://medium.com/write-under-the-moon/re-in-carnations-97d1dcda9539 That metaphor happens to fit very well with a mathematical formula I came up with a few years ago when I was struggling with the concept of human and soul and what of Greg will survive to the "after life."

"I realized that for two months whenever Anne channeled Lindsey for me we spoke to Lindsey, not a stranger named Sitara with Lindsey’s memories. So, while Marcus and all 17,042 prior imprints sparked my life, when I die the soul that leaves is not just 1/17,043rds Greg because Greg = (17,042/17,043 + 1/17,043)=1."

I had featured Jes's post in this poem of mine that I think you'll enjoy. "My Highest Powers Speak to Me with Music, Movies, and Lyrics

Free verse poem mused by The Beatles and others who have been touched by the hand of God (as I choose to call my highest power — not the “God” of any religion)" https://medium.com/write-under-the-moon/a8ab489fb263
