Me: “Do you believe in eternal souls and past and future lives?”

Neuropsychologist: “Past and future lives yes but not a soul, although we do have subtle energy fields unknown [sic] to science. It is our experiences that cluster to form a soul.”

Me: “same thing — the energy field is the soul”

Neuropsychologist: “Exactly. Buddhism has a very similar view on this as neuroscience.”
