PS, I think hearts and minds can be won over by philosophy when less ambitiously than my goal we simply focus on ethics and practical discussions and not taking discussions to the ludicrous like do we actually exist or seeking to prove or disprove the unprovable or strained discussions of for example whether or not free will exists.

I take the same position re science, as I wrote: "Here’s my philosophy of modern science. Broadly stated, I think too many scientists waste time and money on matters that are undiscoverable and or have no practical impact on improving life; too many resources are used to develop technology that is used so we can acquire things easier and faster, but those things don’t actually contribute to contentment."
