Quite the meditative musing here my friend. Well done. I loved the way you used lyrics from the Sound of Silence as your headings.

Have you read Richard Bach's One? I'm reading it now and loving it. One quote in particular came to me as I was reading your post: "There's no disaster that can't become a blessing, and no blessing that can't become a disaster."

If you haven't read it, I highly recommend it. It imagines Richard and his wife Leslie hopping from alternate reality to alternate reality meeting other versions of themselves, some of the same incarnations before or after certain choices have or have not been made, and others are different incarnations their souls have experienced. Each stop is for a purpose of something for them to learn, which reminds me of the channeled by my psychic sessions with my spirit guides and why they choose to reveal certain aspects of certain past lives to me. I'll be writing a series of short posts inspired by passages from the book. I posted this introductory piece a few days ago if you're interested. https://medium.com/catharsis-chronicles/mindfully-filling-my-mind-35d1634e51e0

Plus, I think you'll appreciate the ambling but all dots connected streams of consciousness that follow the poem portion. Sound familiar?
