Regarding visibility of women, I read a very moving NYT article a few days ago that compiled over 40 journal entries from three women in Iran regarding their experiences since the furor over the hajib/chador hit the streets last fall when the morality police beat Mahsa Amini to death. One of the entries contained "The government is not afraid of women’s hair or the length of their skirts. They are afraid of our existence." I wrote about the article and my takeaways from several of the journal entries here: https://medium.com/@marcus17043/inspiring-words-from-women-facing-despair-with-hope-and-resilience-c04581932839
