Reminds me of when I woke up one morning early last year with the word "archipelago" bursting into my consciousness from the hypnagogic space. I wrote about that moment here, https://medium.com/channspirations/things-of-which-dreams-are-made-ca0adce97b41, writing "Then this morning, while in my states between awake and asleep, the personal meaning hit me. I have written about I often feel as if I am alone on a deserted island lost in a sea of humanity....It dawned on me that I am not on an island but I am an archipelago as my personality cannot be defined by any single island."

The Donne quote also connects to the thoughts in this essay of mine: https://marcus17043.medium.com/i-meet-kierkegaard-nietzsche-ortega-and-archangels-in-a-bar-b56233dae748, subtitled And a fascinating conversation over absinthe ensues.

The quote also reminds me that For Whom the Bell Tolls is my favorite Heminway book--it blows The Son Also Rises out of the water. I took it out of the attic a few weeks or more ago. Should I read it again? Probably, but I should also read so many of the books I have purchased and not yet read.

Ok, now to read you essay, Natasha. I haven't made it passed the Donne quote yet.
