See my reinterpretation of that story: https://medium.com/promptly-written/reimagining-sacred-texts-and-their-messages-ac5f6306a7f7
Furthermore, I recently saw a great message about what "in the image of god" really means: In Jodie Helm's recent piece https://jodieshelm.medium.com/where-should-we-place-our-faith-9931fd28a1d0, the guides she channels say, among other things, "You were created so that you could also create. This is what it means to be created in the image of God. This is a gift and a responsibility. You are not only charged to create for yourself, but also to create for the good of humanity, and you are given all the gifts you need to accomplish this."
I commented: "That's a meaning I had not considered. I have assigned the divine and gender neutral innocence of a newborn uncorrupted by life to that phrase. This additional meaning is profound and gives me an additional understanding of this song that my guides had my channeler send me shortly after my awakening: https://youtu.be/gRm4m4BP4t0
It's an amazing and related song. Then there is my spiritual anthem by the same artist, also sent to me that same night: https://youtu.be/jfOfqs1rHXE
