what’s good for the flock
may not be good for the bird
but here’s what matters
Seagulls please act for yourselves
so long as flock not injured
judge not
high and mighty
God is not offended
let me live, go sit on gearstick

Apparently, this poem percolated unbeknownst to me for several hours, until I went for a run, chugged some wine, and took a shower. Everyone has their own creative process. I never have writer’s block because I never intend to write.
