Sorry to hear that, Chrysa. Every situation is different but the emotions and feelings translate to something one can identify with.

Marisa was in her early 40s or thereabouts when her body shut down and she was put on life support in May 2023 due to an acquired brain injury, and passed away that October ( I wrote the box linked poem Marisa Boarded the Rainbow Bridge to Heaven that night) . It wasn't until the first deathiversary that Anne was able to step foot back in the cemetery. She's been stuck in anger. Yesterday, "sheltering in place" she called being stuck.
