Why else is it that when my daughter and I spend time together, we’re nearly always thinking the same thing? How is it that after a day together, we’ll both be ruminating back on the same story, at the same time? We laugh the same, we have the same inflections in our voice, and when I hear her talking to our puppies, I realize it may as well be me.
