synchronicity or karma, which are synonyms when karma is properly understood, is a better word. Why? Because humans view serendipity as positive for human needs outcomes, whereas in truth, fate presents us with our karmic, soul contract opportunities for spiritual growth, which may be anathema to human happiness and free will determines whether fate becomes destiny
