Tanka of June Wind

Inspired by the view of the farm across the street from my front porch

Writer’s Photo of Neighbor’s Farm Across the Street

Wheatfield rolls like sea
Caribbean comes to mind
Warm ocean breezes
Gaia calmly smiles at me
Everything will be alright

Wind’s the Mother’s breath
Gently swaying trees exhale
Fauna’s energy
Birds of prey and butterflies
Currents provide lift to all

I shot the following video just now of the scenery that inspired me to create the poem.

Birds of prey soaring
Her majesty halts my walk
One hawk halts as well
It’s hovering motionless
Sublime proof of the Goddess

In Rama I create, with soul energy surging through my body, inspiring me and breathing wind into my sails,
