It seems to me that for each writer who has seen their earnings slashed, there could very well be multiple writers who have seen their earnings increase.

Re boosting, I have never had a story boosted (and I never had a story curated and I only ever had one story chosen for further distribution in my three years writing here). I am not surprised that the new boosting standards don't favor your stories as the AA's messages tend, for good/appropriate reasons, to be repetetive. That is not a complaint. Just stating a fact that I understand would hamper boosts.
