Thank you. I have much to learn about chakras. I think that 12 step work properly understood and executed (which it often is not because the programs' messages have been corrupted and are not aligned with the founders) is about spiritual healing and is not at all focused on problems. It is very much focused on solutions to spiritual maladies. Whatever the addiction one is in a 12 step program to treat is only mentioned once in step one and then not again till step 12 in connection with bringing the messages of spiritual principles to others similarly afflicted. I believe that 12 step work is stigmatized by the stigma that society places on substance abusers. That stigma should be removed not only so that people can seek treatment without shame, but so that the spiritual principles of 12 step programs can be taught in schools.
