Thank you, Conni. It's interesting that upon reading your comment I thought to myself, hmm, was that my intention?, and went back to read the poem just now and yes, that's definitely there. Chaos is a great word for confusion. Confusion about and misunderstanding of messaging is what I had in mind. I had to remind myself as this poem wasn't so fresh in my mind as I wrote the first draft in a streams of consciousness session in the wee hours of the morning while quite drunk over 2 weeks ago and then didn't look at it again until Saturday night when I added to and tinkered and polished without wine.
