Thank you for the link. I just read the poem and this piece about it (https://www.nytimes.com/2019/01/18/well/mary-olivers-poems-taught-me-how-to-live.html?unlocked_article_code=eVqJBh0n6Pgifj1IHiu3iWBsk5CzlmTgf5K9FCfEpkn1w0XZqxVg4JUVdwxFS2p9iSymcxD9O32gwiW-OWjExT1GtH4MSH-Y6L5n9UdhrOFgO6QqlwPvb_oZlRC8CJvrVH6tAIeqfceGtkpkMyjXIlVG8MM2BfM9tUS_5V21TlsZXHsN6tFSehlnzH1nGZ8ERMdeRryPKwbnxaVO_WViaG66fdcn2JlKCixFJl6rfkPmgvAfCCsgcHapegxZydcbu-0527_wRxT7MWQ6XnF3FMyWy2H28w3q_QgAb1KYQ3x_XjM86morJdumPfylcptVn8E_N-lVyKtDdszvdI9wGzmaVvp1Ebddlo9tHDci1g&smid=share-url)(thats a gift link). I haven't posted an essay to Medium in over a month. I've been thinking about writing a piece on my understanding of the meaning and purpose of human life, which has evolved since I first wrote about it here almost two years ago ( https://medium.com/p/17d63e021d99 ) and I can see working in the questions posed by the poem, which will br guided by the POV of this life being my soul's not vast amount (17,043) of incarnations.
