…ks linearly!) The rain outside my window inspired this poem. It came to me as I was falling asleep. In that suspended state between wakefulness and sleep, my thoughts creep along, four steps forward and two steps back, returning to visions and images for a second taste. In that state, I often lose sight of the “real” of reality!
