Thank you for writing this Julius. It's particularly timely as a Tennessee school board just unanimously banned a book (Maus) from its schools that's about the holocaust and I saw recently a stat that close to half the public schools in this county do not have the Holocaust anywhere in their curriculum. I have met highly intelligent people on this platform who did not know about the Holocaust nor had ever heard of antisemitism because they grew up in areas that didn't have any Jews in the community.

I sure don't know what was in Whoopi's head when she said that. Maybe she thought it was about religion? Anyway, it was clearly designed by Hitler and his planners to wipe out the Jewish people, and I consider us to be a race more than a religion. I do not practice the religion but I will always identify as Jewish.
