Thank you so much. It's the only piece of fiction I have written to date. You do realize that all the indented parts were not fiction--those are my life--but I weaved them into the story seamlessly I guess. :-)

I need to send it to Benny's mom. :-) Benny is real. He lived in my neighborhood when I lived in NH. He loved me so much and I loved him. From the first time he saw me he would pull and pull Karen (I think is her name). Then every time we were on the street at the same time if there were no cars, which there rarely were, she would let him off the leash and he would run to me and hug me and kiss me and I kissed him back.
