Thank you, Ted. Your thoughts on the poem are very much in line with what I had in mind. (I do believe that the historial figures were true prophets with souls returned from the highest level of "Heaven").
I need to say one thing about your comment--the mention of Nazis in relation to Israel--it bothers me and I must say so for myself and on behalf of others (Henya comes to mind). I know that in many ways the government of Israel has acted poorly over the years and worse and more so recently, and I've acknowledged that in my essays. I also know you are not antisemetic. Nevertheless, that a person such as yourself can fall into the false equivalency trap espoused by idiots on college campuses and in the streets and by organizations like Amnesty Int'l shows how antisemtism oozes and creeps and infects the thoughts of even kind and wonderful people such as yourself and thus becomes even more entrenched.
