Thanks for my daily dose of comedy.

Ari always has very interesting interviews. His show is my favorite of the MSNBC platforms. I also love Morning Joe but I'm rarely awake for it these days. Ari's Mavericks series is really interesting and the breadth of guests is all over the spectrum of artists and other roles in entertainment. He often excerpts them on his show with the full interviews available here https://www.nbcnews.com/think/melber-mavericks, His Scooter Braun interview last year sparked a contemplative piece from me, with lines like this (I think Scooter mentioned David Geffen as the original source for the thought), which also happens to connect with your subject matter today:

“In 100 years, no one will remember me so they sure as hell won’t remember you so don’t have an ego…don’t go through life hoping someone will remember your name, just hope you will have made a difference.”

A scene from Peaky Blinders also inspired parts of my piece.
