That's an excellent observation and idea Shirley, and ties in with what I have observed about science/technology, which is that too often it's not actually in our best interests. "I think too many scientists waste time and money on matters that are undiscoverable and or have no practical impact on improving life; too many resources are used to develop technology that is used so we can acquire things easier and faster, but those things don’t actually contribute to contentment."
