With The Twilight Zone poems, I rewatch those episodes several times. Sometimes I’ll watch a movie more than once. As I’m watching, I’m taking notes. Lines and images will come to me. Often, I’ll instantly associate scenes and themes with song lyrics. I end up with a jumbled mess of lines and stanzas that I try to put together like a puzzle to tell the story.
