The existence of God can never be proved by science (nor disproved, obviously) but it can be known. This was one of my earliest Medium essays--I just checked and I don't think you have read it. https://medium.com/illumination/why-is-it-so-easy-for-people-to-believe-the-most-obvious-lies-yet-require-proof-of-god-339a2a07cc4f
and then there are my personal experiences (this one you have read): https://medium.com/illumination/i-speak-to-god-and-god-speaks-to-me-23bff8ec2274
This is one of my favorite quotes: "Do not waste the precious moments of this, your present reality, seeking to unveil all of life's secrets. Those secrets are a secret for a reason. Grant your God the benefit of the doubt."
Here's my philosophy of science. Broadly stated, I think too many scientists waste time and money on matters that are undiscoverable and or have no practical impact on improving life;
and too many resources are used to develop technology that is used so we can acquire things eaiser and faster that don’t actually contribute to contentment. https://medium.com/know-thyself-heal-thyself/technology-versus-soul-1ff8121a7e8c
