The question of why suffering exists is one that doesn't have one answer. With respect to the line about it exists because God loves each of us unconditionally, what I meant was that with respect to suffering that is caused by random events or by free will and outside of anything in a soul contract, as God loves each person unconditionally, getting involved would be showing favorites and is inconsistent with unconditional love.
