The triumphant return, or is it just an appearance, of the goddess of woo, oh how I've missed you without knowing it. The excitement I felt at seeing you show up in my emails and the energy I felt reading your piece was delicious.

I highlighted so much because I relate to so much. I know you write from the woman's perspective, but swap the terms women for men throughout this piece and it's me you wrote about.

I'm sure I've shared this quote with you before from Neale Donald Walsch's Conversations with God: "The purpose of a relationship is not to have another who might complete you, but to have another with whom you might share your completeness.”

I also thought of this three-year-old piece of mine while reading yours. https://medium.com/know-thyself-heal-thyself/the-fiercest-love-of-all-cb994e14f974 The poem you'll find therein responded to two prompts, "How can you actively train your capacity to receive and give love?" and "How can you liberate your fiercest, loving nature?" The answer found in my poem very much aligns with your beautiful essay, my beautiful friend.
