There's a lot going on in your well crafted poem before you land on the positive aspect of seeking via your notes, which I appreciate. I like to know what the poet had in mind, regardless of the poem also being open to interpretation by the reader. Dopamine, aphrodisiac, enticing enthral, and other words and lines had me thinking lust and people being fooled by it. Seeking pleasure perhaps ties it together.
