There's so much in here. Dark night of the soul leading to rebirth.

Trauma from and survival of narcissistic abuse.

Thoughts of the band The Moody Blues entered my mind, https://youtu.be/SWAmICTFSok

The poem is very well crafted. I liked how certain thoughts but not with the exact same words were used as refrains, for example:

"On tenebrous nights like this"

"Only on tenebrous nights like this"

"Only under the darkling moonless nights"

and

"Trembling in the void exponentially expanding"

"Within and in surrounding void"

This poem could be studied for hours to unpack all that is in here.

"Past and present converge"

later

"Unreachable future and past"

very clever plays

I love lines that have built-in contradictions yet somehow make sense, such as your "Ravenously dreaming with demolished hope

Overall, the poem is very visceral.

It feels like a van Gogh painting mixed with a Salvador Dali

It might be your best work. Congrats. Probably too dark to get boosted. But I see the eyes it reached do appreciate it. How's that for a segue to my recent, The Joy of Murdered Souls, Poem of ironic punishment https://medium.com/p/a9c931461f29

Curious if Medium sent you your subscriber email. Sorry it took me a few days to get to your masterpiece. It's probably good that it did. I needed to be be able to focus and really dive into it.

PS: would you explain your use of nox. Is it a fantasy game or nitrous oxide or something else? At one point I thought you were using it to mean a cure.
