This is also technically true. All our eyes do is receive light at certain wavelengths, which receptors in the retina turn into electrical signals that travel from the optic nerve to whatever part of the brain then processes these and then somehow we perceive an image. Who knows what anyone actually looks like. Maybe our brains are designed to alter the image? I'm both not serious and serious about that.
