This is so true. I have been in love many times and each relationship failed and each one was a learning experience. Will I ever find love with someone with whom we can each have a successful relationship and share our completeness with each other? I hope so. What I do know for sure is I will never settle into and or stay in a relationship without love as many do. As Viktor Frankl wrote, in addition to our primal need for sex, “sex is a mode of expression of love…love is not understood as a mere side-effect of sex; rather, sex is a way of expressing the experience of that ultimate togetherness which is called love.”
