This is the problem. The drug companies and the FDA are not being honest with the population. I am pro-science and generally pro-vax. I wish honesty and accurate info ruled the day and people were allowed to make an informed choice about whether and which company's vax to get for themselves and their children. The truth is that when one studies the Pfizer and Moderna trials, what is happening now is the millions upon millions of people being vaccinated are participating in a vast and uncontrolled trial by fire and that it will be years before anyone knows if the mRNA vaccines have any long-term side effects. My sister's pediatrician recommended that she vaccinate her kids with a traditional vaccine--that makes sense to me. Otherwise healthy adults should get vaccinated with whatever vax is available. Yet as no one truly knows anything about the efficacy of the vaccines and as the damn phage keeps mutating both by base-pair changes and mutating by recombination, everyone should keep masking up and practicing socializing at safe distances.
