This is the source of conflict between my son and his mother.

…everything. But that attitude seems to have fallen by the wayside. Today for some, maybe even many, lying is simply a way of life. It’s expedient. People easily lie about things large and small and don’t see any harm in it. It’s a habit. The fact that sooner or later others realize it’s either a made-up tale or an outright fabrication seems to be beside the point.

This is the source of conflict between my son and his mother. The latter being the one who lies rather than ever admitting fault. It's her defense mechanism. And it rips him up emotionally.
