With tuition escalating so much, college is an expensive vacation, but that is what it is becoming. I am not surprised by the study’s findings. I have seen this extravagant spending on recreation for students firsthand. Here is a photo I took of a university’s construction project while I was visiting the campus.

This point does not resonate with me. I know plenty of college students who take demanding course loads and work their fucking asses off. They need the leisure too!!
