This was a comment I left in Patti's story: "I really enjoyed your story. It reminded me of being with my my mom in our backyard as a kid. She put cups of beer in the dirt to attract the slugs before they got to our strawberries. We would pour salt on the ones that made the mistake of oozing their way to our bounty, which would make them shrivel up and die."
