Today I read Tara Desai's wonderful piece about God and your and Anthi's comments. I have not yet commented therein because I have not yet decided what I will add. I agree with everything you said and 99% of what Anthi said (I don't quite agree with what she said about evil because it sounds too much like original sin). Idea in formation here--I believe what God said to Neale Donald Walsch about love and fear being the base emotions for all others. I believe that God is unconditional love. I believe that most Abrahamic religious teachings are based on fear which is thus not God. Then I started to think about how courage is the opposite of fear. That's as far as I got for now...
