Very clever piece indeed. As are the single quotes around love in your kind link. I proudly and with glee affirm my love for Libby, and hers for me, goes way beyond our erotic attraction to each other without yet even having met in real life. https://medium.com/write-under-the-moon/love-before-sight-7cfd27e6c081. That was the first of three dizain poems I have written to date. Before trying it, I felt a distain for the form as I do for rhyming forms generally as I tended to feel the need to rhyme constrains me (and certainly presented a challenge in the poem to which you linked). I started out that first piece with this tanka (I like syllable counts):
Agnes wrote in Slack
Introducing the dizain
I demurred to rhyme
Then another prompt converged
I challenge myself for love
And as you know, my second dizain was certainly not a love poem--but I do dearly love my departed friend whose suicide inspired it https://medium.com/the-pom/dizain-of-suicide-72bcde4dc8d8 and my passion for suicide prevention through awareness
