Very well written and honest story. I am not as polite as you. The judgers can go fuck themselves. On another note, I spend too many nights wondering how I will react at my dad's funeral, and whether I will go, which depends if my mom survives him. If I cry, it will likely be like the tears I have shed at other fathers' funerals--tears for the father I wish I had had, like you had.
