We do have a choice. Rama and Jodie's archangels have been very clear about that. Not only do we have a choice about whether or not to return but we design our life plans, subject to higher power's approval. Yes, sometimes the roles we agree to play are for the benefit of others' lesson plans but even then, usually, we are expected to learn.
